No swimming skills are needed for rafting Tara River. All participants receive professional safety vests that keep you afloat even if you end up in the water. Our licensed skippers ensure your safety throughout the entire Tara rafting experience. Falling out of the boat is rare, and the vest is mandatory equipment on every rafting River Tara trip.
We offer hiking activities in Bosnia for all fitness levels. Easy trails to Zelengora lakes or Donje Bare are great for recreational hikers. The Maglić summit ascent (2386m) is the most demanding hiking in Bosnia and requires good fitness and hiking boots. Each package description includes the difficulty rating.
Our river camping in Bosnia offers several options: wooden bungalows (lower ones with shared facilities, upper Comfort/Superior/Premium with private toilet), camper van plots with hookups, and tent spaces right by the Drina. It's the perfect camping Bosnia base for Tara rafting and hiking activities.
Since the Tara River forms the natural border between Bosnia and Montenegro, and the rafting start point is in Montenegro, valid travel documents are required. EU citizens need a valid passport for this Tara rafting trip. Citizens of Serbia and Bosnia need a national ID card. We register documents with border authorities of both countries before departure.
